Meet Angelina
Born with the rare ability to hear music in colour, synesthesia, 19-year-old Aussie-British Perth-based alt-pop artist Angelina approaches songwriting and performance with a natural, cinematic emotional depth. Rooted in Australia’s indie landscape, her atmospheric and cathartic live shows have built a growing community of listeners who seek music that is personal and confessional.
And she’s making her mark with a WAM Song of the Year, an Australian Idol top 8 finalist placement, and recognition from International Songwriting Contest and Unsigned Only USA Awards - as well as 650k+ Spotify streams and live performances for 60k at Optus Stadium and 1 million on primetime TV. She has received airplay on Triple J and acclaim from Apple Music, Kyle & Jackie O Show, Triple J, ABC, The Music, AU Review, The West Australian, New Idea and many more.
Angelina is also a working actor known for starring alongside Kate Walsh in 'Mary Stuart', the headline play of Perth Festival 2022 at the age of 14 and for the lead role in 2022 indie feature film, Cherubhead, for which she received a Best Actress nomination in Europe's Septimius Film Awards.
